B is for

Tea towel monogram

Bells. Jingle bells, crystal bells, church bells, hand bells. Bells are everywhere at Christmas.

Ornament that has hung on our tree for 33 years.

Even smocked ones. This sweet little ornament is from a pattern that  has been available for many years.

You could even smock a garment with these cute jingle bells from Cherished Stitches.

These adorable ornaments complete with their own matching jingle bells would be a sweet treat for the sewing friend in your life. Complete with instructions when you visit this blog.

My mother always called these silver bells.

There are countless Christmas carols about bells and even this old movie that has become a Christmas classic. I love this movie. I have a special affection for the song that goes with it. The school song where I went to nursing school was set to the tune of "The Bells of St. Mary." I couldn't scare up the words to it on a bet.

And we know "teacher says, every time a bell rings an angel gets his wings." I hope you hear lots of bells ringing in the days to come.
