Bright inspiration

Isn't this great? Now I don't think I could ever do this because it is so loose and free form and we know I am a tight---, oops; more controlled embroiderer. But this makes my heart sing. The colors, the light reflecting off of the beads, the textures, all of it. Love it.

  1. It is very pretty but I want to tighten up all of those French knots, which of course would change the whole look of it LOL

  2. Hi, the loopy French knots are a bit of a trademark for me. I've been doing them that way for years. They are perfectly suited for framed art, but if you're doing them on wearables or linen, they may snag. I used to do them tightly, but have really enjoyed the texture that results when they are free-form.
