On the road again....

Its that time again. Time to visit the land of

Live oaks,

magnolias and

Tobasco. In other words, home. At least home to my spirit. I will be attending Wendy Schoen's annual La Broderie Bayou on Avery Island, LA

I am sad that I didn't get last summer's projects finished as planned. Just not enough hours in the day lately. Oh well. I will put that out of my mind and focus on this year's projects as I sit, stitch and visit with my stitchin' buddies. I wish all of you could be there. This is my third year to go and it really is a wonderful time.

Say a prayer or three that this expected baby stays put and doesn't make me try and zoom back here unexpectedly. I won't be able to afford the traffic tickets trying to get up the highway at the speed of light.

  1. Hope your trip is great. I've gotten behind on your posts. The little tshirts with the bullion bunnies are adorable. The dresses are, as you said, timeless! The shadow embroidery (I think that's what the first one is) is beautiful.

  2. I am crazy about Wendy!!! Have taken her classes twice and she is one of the best. I admit, I am more than little jealous!!!

  3. Oh, Martha, have a wonderful, wonderful time, and may that longed-for little one stay put for a while longer! Drive safely!

  4. Have a wonderful time, and we will be saying many prayers that little miss stays where she belongs! Give Wendy and all her helpers big hugs for me.

  5. You are one lucky girl!! I would love to take a class from Wendy Schoen. Have a great time and show us what you learned when you get back! Tell that little one she has to wait a little bit longer!

  6. Hope you have a wonderful trip! I can hardly wait to see what you make this year!

Welcome, I am so glad you chose to leave a comment. I love getting comments, questions and even just a friendly hello. I may not respond to every comment, but rest assured I read them all. Sometimes the comments and questions fuel new posts. So comment away!
