Dark days

Ol' man winter just needs to go to bed! Enough already. We had over 2" of white stuff again today. I am so over it. I haven't had a chance to get to my sewing room in three days, so coupled with the snowy gray days, it makes me grumpy.

Now I am fully aware my troubles are tiny compared to so many right now. That doesn't seem to make me less grumpy. Maybe that is contributing to my grumpy mood.

So while I have been quiet, I do continue to pray for those is such desperate need. I hope you will join me in praying for those lost, hurting and displaced by recent events around the world.

  2. I join with you and many others I am sure. This looks so threatening now with the nuclear plants.

I am so over winter as well but we still have a foot on the ground. Good news is we have had two days of sunshine and 40ยบ so now I can walk on our walks and driveway. With that motivation I headed out to the road for a nice walk in the sunshine. It felt heavenly! I haven't done that since last fall.

  3. I am trying to finish up reports so I can fly off to MS for the weekend. It is currently snowing and I am NOT wanting my plans to be interupted.
I have been praying for Japan. Truly sad.

  4. Amen, Martha! I want to cry every time I see the news & these dreary, rainy days don't help with the mood, either.

I, too, have not been able to sew anything since we got home from FL so I know exactly how you feel. Company comes from Chicago tomorrow & I've been flat out exhausted with preparations.
I'm planning on hibernating in my sewing room all next week after they leave. I can easily pray & sew at the same time.

    Hugs,
    Rett
