On the news it is reported that every state but Florida has snow/ice on the ground somewhere. Over 70% of the country is covered in snow and ice. Winter has us in its grip.

Our baby is six months old now. How did that happen? Mommy cleaned out her closet a couple of weeks ago. It was sad day, but she is still able to wear this daygown. Considering that the fabric is around $6 a yard, not bad for 6 months worth of wear. Mommy and I are busy planning spring and summer frocks for baby to wear.
My chapter is gearing up to have Gail Doane come visit next week. I am still chasing myself coming and going. I hope to ahve to some new pretties to share soon.
my father-in-law saw that on the news about snow in every state but Florida! that is truly amazing. We still have our snow from Monday. It has melted some and has refrozen. It's now a solid sheet of ice. It should melt some this weekend though.

Brrrr is right! It's entirely too cold here in south Louisiana....but the sight of that gorgeous baby girl warms my heart! :)

ReplyDeleteJeannie, she weighs 18# and is just shy of 26" tall now. When she first wore this gown it covered past her feet, now her legs stick out. :)
I am so jealous. Gail is my favorite i think meeting her would be like meeting a rock star for me.
